"Girls and Cars" is a car calendar created by Katka Blajchert and Urszula Kozak. As part of the project, which started in 2018 and is ongoing, the artists annually publish a calendar with their photographs. It is an alternative version to those often hanging in car repair shops, filled with sexism and stereotypes about women. The artists' idea is simple: to show real girls, with their real cars, in their everyday surroundings. A simple feminist statement and, at the same time, an aesthetically pleasing look at contemporary Poland.
